Monomoy Regional School District’s preschool programs are now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year. Monomoy offers two preschool programs, suited for a range of students.

Monomoy’s Pups Preschool program is designed to meet critical developmental needs of young children by providing a language-rich environment. This is a full, school-day program designed to support all families in our community with access to high-quality preschool programming.

The Pups program is located at Chatham Elementary School, and is open to families in Chatham and Harwich. For 2026-2027, there are spots available for 3-year-old students, who must be age 3 prior to September 1, 2026. The program will offer a full-day schedule of 6.25 hours, five days per week, at no cost. Students in the program will have access to free lunch through MRSD Food Services and many family supports. Transportation will be provided for students in the Pups program.

To begin the process of applying to Monomoy’s Pups Preschool program, please visit www.monomoy.edu/pups and complete the online form. Families will be contacted upon receipt of the form to discuss next steps, including scheduling a screening. Completing an interest form does not guarantee placement.

Monomoy's Integrated Preschool program serves children ages 3-4 who have been found eligible for special education services due to a disability who learn alongside more typically developing students, called peers. Peers help to model age-appropriate social, play, language, and learning skills.

The Integrated Preschool is located at Harwich Elementary School and offers morning (7:50 a.m.-10:20 a.m.) and afternoon sessions (11:35 a.m.-2:05 p.m.), four days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). Children who will be age 3 or 4 before September 1, 2026, are potentially eligible for the program. Students identified with a disability attend Monomoy’s integrated preschool at no cost and can receive transportation. Peer students attend the integrated preschool at no cost, however transportation is not available for peers.

To begin the process of applying to Monomoy’s Integrated Preschool, please visit www.monomoy.edu/integrated and complete the online form. Monomoy Regional School District is committed to locating children before their 3rd birthday in order to provide services for 3- and 4-year-olds who may be eligible for special education services.
